The top 10 places that I would like to take my kids before they grow up.
Today I was re-reading Frommer’s 500 Places To Take Your Kids Before They Grow Up and it got me thinking about where I would most like to take my children before they are grown up. Katie’s already 14 so it might be a bit hard to fit in these trips – I may just have to hope that she will still travel with us when she’s just a little bit grown up.
Some of the destinations are places that I have travelled to in the past but would love to experience again with my kids but most of them are dream trips that I would love to take for the first time with my family along.
So, in no particular order, before my kids grow up I would like to take them to:
1) Paris
2) The Grand Canyon
3) Ireland
4) Egypt
5) China
6) The Galapagos Islands
7) Australia
8) On a train trip through the Canadian Rockies
9) On an African safari
10) San Francisco
Does anybody else have their own list of dream destinations for their family?
